Why are my emails going to spam?
When a customer says they never got your email, it is often sitting in spam. That usually means a public setting on your domain is missing, not that you did something wrong.
Mail companies look for three notes: who may send mail (SPF), a signature from your email company (DKIM), and a rule for fake mail (DMARC). If those notes are missing, real mail looks like junk.
GradeMyDNS checks those notes for free. The grade page says which one is missing, in plain words.
What to do
- Type your website address on the home page and run the free check.
- Read the top three notes. Start with SPF, then DKIM, then DMARC.
- If you want the exact record and the clicks for your domain company, the fix kit is $19 once.
- After you change a record, wait up to an hour and check again.
